About thrifty in Abu Dhabi
Thrifty's Mission
Welcome to Thrifty! Your go-to spot for enjoying Abu Dhabi without burning through your wallet. I was born and raised here in Abu Dhabi, and I started this blog because I know firsthand how expensive the city can feel…
But I also know many amazing, affordable gems are actually out there if you know where to look. On Thrifty, I share budget-friendly restaurants, fun things to do, events, and little hidden spots around Abu Dhabi that won’t cost you a fortune. Whether you’re saving up, living on a budget, or just like getting good value for your money, this page is basically me passing along all the best finds I come across in the city.
It’s just me running this. No team, no big company, just a local sharing what I genuinely find worth it. Think of it like getting recommendations from a friend who’s always hunting for the best deals around Abu Dhabi.
